The District of the Society shall be unlimited
|

All Entries for the Competition must be the bona-fide property of the Exhibitor at the time of Entry. Subscriptions may be paid to the Collectors, who are empowered to give receipts and hand over tickets. No tickets will be forwarded unless the subscriptions are previously paid.

3. |
All disputes which shall arise in the Cattle Section (excepting Objections) shall be settled by the following sub-committee: G. Singleton and G. Rowson.
|
|
4. |
All disputes which shall arise whether as regards the management of the Society, the award of prizes, or otherwise, shall be referred to the Executive Committee, whose decision in all cases shall be final.
|
|
5. |
No person standing indebted to the Society shall be allowed to make an Entry while such debt remains unpaid.
|
|
6. |
Exhibitors must have their exhibits on the field by the times contained in the Schedule.
|
|
7. |
Stock will be required to keep to their proper places as directed by the Stewards. All persons violating this rule will be liable to forfeit their prizes and pay a fine of £30.00, which shall be strictly enforced.
|
|
8. |
Exhibitors removing stock from their stand before 4.30 p.m. after being judged on any pretence whatever, without written leave from Emergency Committee, will be precluded from taking any prize which may have been awarded.
|
|
9. |
The Secretary in making out the award book for the Judges will strike out all entries for competition for which the entrance fees are not paid. This rule will be STRICTLY ENFORCED.
|
|
10. |
Any person wishing to raise an objection must do so in writing to the Secretary, within 30 minutes of the close of judging and deposit with her the sum of £10 and if on investigation by the Committee the objection is not sustained to their satisfaction, the deposit money shall, at the discretion of the Committee, be forfeited to the funds of the Society.

11. |
In any cases of disqualification the Animal or other exhibit placed next in merit will succeed the prize.
|
|
12. |
All stock shown may (if considered necessary by the Stewards) be examined by the Veterinary Inspector, either before or after being judged, and if passed as unsound, unhealthy, or not the correct age or height specified shall be disqualified or excluded from competition, and the Certificate in writing of the Veterinary Officer shall be final and conclusive on that point.

Should the exhibitor of any animal at any of the Society’s Shows fail to prove, to the satisfaction of the Committee, the correctness of any Certificate he may have given when called upon to do so he shall forfeit all claim to any Prize which may have been awarded to him, and may be prohibited from exhibiting in any future Show of the Society.

Any exhibitor bringing any animal into the Show Ground diseased with any epidemic disorder shall, on proof thereof, forfeit £50 to the Secretary for the use of the Society.
|
|
15. |
The Committee of the Society will not be responsible for any losses, mistakes, or accidents of any description that may occur to any Entry, and entries will be received subject to this condition.
|
|
16. |
The public will be admitted into the Show Ground at 8.30 a.m. on payment of £7.00 each, Concessions £5.00,.Children £3.00 Children aged 3 years and under free of charge. Family tickets (2 adults 2 school aged children) £15.00 Car Parking FREE in the field adjoining the show. Show field parking only for disabled

17. |
Subscriptions of £12.00 entitles subscribers to membership badge and complimentary admission ticket. Honorary Members will be issued with appropriate Badges.
|

18. |
No distinguishing marks or letter shall be placed on any Exhibit, either in the ring or on any stand, and the Stewards may strike out the name and number of any Exhibitor so offending and debar him from being awarded a prize.
|
|
19. |
If insufficient entries, prizes may be with-held at the discretion of the Judges in all classes.
|
|
20. |
Accounts owing to be rendered in 28 days and all prize money to be paid on Show Day. Cheques not cashed within six months will not be re-issued without the consent of the Executive Committee.
|
|
21. |
The Committee reserve to themselves the right of altering any judging arrangements they deem necessary except where prevented in sections controlled by a governing body.
|
|
22. |
No unauthorised person will be allowed in the Judging Rings or Marquees during judging.
|
|
23. |
The Committee reserve the right to cancel any Class owing to insufficient entries.
|
|
24. |
Ownership CATTLE and SHEEP must be ‘Bona Fide’ property of Exhibitor and to have owned the said exhibit for a period of not less than 3 months before the date of the show.
|
|
25. |
The Committee reserve the right to cancel 2nd & 3rd prizes in all classes if no more than three entries.
|
|
26. |
All Trophies awarded must be returned at least one month before the following years show., or contact made with the secretary .
|
|
27. |
The Organisers of this Show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all Officials and Stewards.
|
|
28. |
Anyone on a horse at this show must wear a hard hat.
|
|
29. |
A skull cap or a hat and safety harness, according to BSI Standard 4472 or 6473 must be worn by ALL competitors in the jumping phase of Working Hunter Classes. Skullcaps must have a navy blue or black cover.
|
|
30. |
No B.S.J.A. Registered Animals or Riders allowed to compete in the unaffiliated show jumping.
|
|
31. |
Riders must have the correct dress to compete in unaffiliated jumping.
|
|
32. |
In the event of an objection to any prizewinner of Class 74-81, prize money will be withheld and the said parties will be notified of the outcome two weeks after the show (rule 10 also applies).
|
|
33. |
Closing dates for classes as per the list on the schedule front cover. Late entries accepted up to 23rd July at double entry fee, with the exception of the SHGB Classes. No entries on day except BSJA, Unaffiliated Jumping, Dog Show & Gymkhana. Entries received after the 14th July will not appear in the catalogue.
